Krewe of Caesar

The Krewe of Caesar Announces its 2012 Grand Marshals

The largest Carnival organization in Jefferson Parish is proud to announce its 2012 Grand Marshals. Sesame Street favorites Walkaround Elmo and Cookie Monster will lead the 33rd annual parade for the Krewe of Caesar on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at 6:00 PM.

This year’s theme is “Festivals of the World” and will roll along the traditional Metairie route.

The Krewe of Caesar is comprised of 600 riders and was founded in 1978. Previous Grand Marshals for the Krewe of Caesar include Disney family favorites Mickey and Minnie Mouse and the Smurfs.
