WANTED! Water solutions for S.E. Louisiana $50,000 prize and business support.

The 2012 Water Challenge is looking for innovative entrepreneurs. For the second year, the Greater New Orleans Foundation and The Idea Village want to discover and nurture up-and-coming businesses creating solutions for our water issues. A special area of focus this year are business ideas that address flooding. However, all water-related entrepreneurs are welcome to apply. Up to 8 finalists will be invited to participate in the Idea Village's IDEAxcelerator, a 6 month business development program mentored by a team of Executives-in-Residence. The finalists will also be eligible to participate in the 2012 Water Challenge day pitch competition during New Orleans Entrepreneur Week in March for a prize of up to $50,000 in seed capital for their business.
